Our Chocolate

The voyage of our handmade chocolate begins in the organic lands of Venezuela and Panama, where we carefully pick out naturally grown raw cacao beans. After we bring the very best of cacao beans to our shop, they are ground in stone grinders.

We use traditional Aztec methods to make our chocolate, and turn it into individual batches for our customers to enjoy right in front of them. This makes us the first “bean to bar” chocolate shop in the West Midlands. Our trusted chocolate-making methods result in the beautiful taste of raw cacao in all our creations. Whether it’s our extraordinary hot chocolate or cacao tea, the refined flavour of cacao will leave you mesmerised.

Our chocolate is one-hundred percent handmade, from winnowing to ageing. We take matters into our hands and bring you the finest chocolate known to man.

We, at Cenu Cacao, offer a wide assortment of services for individuals and groups likewise. Our services are tailored to give our customers the best custom chocolate boxes out there, host two types of corporate events – team-building and conferences, create custom chocolate boxes for weddings and engagement parties and provide the greatest service of our raw cacao beans, drinking chocolate powder, and cacao mass to wholesale customers.

ABOUT CACAO

Cenu Cacao was founded by Rosemary Ndukuba. She grew up at a Nigerian farm, where she fell in love with chocolate. As the years went by, she experimented with different flavours and textures of chocolates. She was mesmerised with the growing potential in making chocolate, and in April of 2017, she decided to turn her dream into a reality with the opening of Cenu Cacao.

Visited the store in Leamington Spa and was highly impressed! Bought some champagne, rum, whisky, rose and pistachio chocolates. The quality of the chocolate was clear when we arrived home and cut them into pieces. Smooth dark chocolate on the inside, melting in the mouth with beautifully combined flavours. I’ve tried many artisan chocolates and Cenu Cacao is as good as any of them, and for this calibre of chocolate I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were as you would expect to pay more from other brands. The store itself is a pleasure to be in, lovingly presented, and to tip it off you can actually see all of the equipment they use to make the chocolate which was a real treat in itself. If in London I can imagine this store would be over run with queues all day long.
